Appearance:
Relv stands at approximately 5'6, her build lithe but befitting of the athleticism required of a warrior skilled in agile hand to hand, weapon to weapon combat. Her face is an unassuming mixture of sharp and soft, perfect for displaying either a caustic attitude or innocence at moment's notice. Her eyes are so dark they appear to be black, though when she uses her power the right one glows an eerie crimson. Her hair is long and black, reaching about halfway down her back. She leaves it down when she is not performing any military function, tying it up when she is.

Despite her battle experience, her scars are few and faint.

Her attire usually consists of dark fabrics, though when dressing in a more civilian style her wardrobe leans just slightly towards warmer colors. Her battle attire is befitting of a general, but easy to move in. In battle and in situations that present her in her military position she also wears a half mask that covers the left side of her face.

Her wings are very distinct, and remain hidden only when she masquerades as a civilian. They are by any observation almost ghostlike, made up of dark, iridescent smoke that while maintaining the general shape of a pair of wings is rarely still, as though governed by emotion or wind. On closer inspection, one may notice a more solid form at the base, giving the impression the smoke is billowing out from them like strangely-shaped smokestacks. When in battle or on military assignment she displays these wings proudly.

Powers: Relv's main powers have absolutely nothing to do with her and everything to do with everyone around her.

Her abilities are that of amplification and dampening, the ability to control the flow of power within Fey in a certain adjustable radius. She also has the ability to focus this amplification on specific Fey, though not multiple specifics. She uses this form much more often, however, seeing as when using it on the general area it affects everyone, be they friend or foe. The level of amplification is also variable, but will always have a higher cap when used on a single target, and the amount of amplification is always the highest near her when the power is used radially. Still, the maximum extent of how far she can amplify powers has not been fully explored, as it has never been needed, even in the Fissure, for her to push it that far.

The ability to dampen powers is one that only appears in her family every few generations, and Relv was not lucky enough to be able to control it well enough to focus it on single Fey as she can her amplification. The dampening does not affect her, just as the amplification doesn't, unless done by another Fey with amplifying powers, at which point the extent to which she could amplify would be beyond incredible, and she may be able to focus amplification on multiple targets not in radius or focus dampening on a single target. The radial dampening, however, can render a good chunk of a battlefield nearly powerless, so it is a handy tool to use in the event that the enemy uses mainly powers and is not particularly good at hand-to-hand combat.

When amplifying, her right eye glows red, while dampening causes this to happen to her left. She cannot use these two powers in conjunction with each other (i.e. dampening an area and amplifying a single ally so he or she can still use their powers is not possible). If she is tired/exhausted/injured/not at her peak, the effect of both amplification and dampening is lowered, and as such she knows it unwise to use it for too long a duration.

To be clear, the amplification is applied directly to the Fey themselves, not just to the area. For example, amplifying a power of elemental control that already could affect a large area will not amplify only the element within her radius, but will amplify the strength of the element and the area of its own effect.
Magical Knowledge:
Having been raised with a standard magical education, Relv focuses now mainly on Dark and Fire weaving, as well as healing magics.

(( Personality ))

Relv is a serious girl, cold and methodical in her work, though she has a passionate side to her as well. When she's interested in something, it's an intense interest, almost a fascination or obsession, though she has enough self-control not to act too much on that. She's good at putting on masks, often acting like a cheerful and innocent girl when not at work, though this mask can be dropped as easily as it was put on, making her seem to some people almost as if she had a split personality, friendly one moment and heartless the next.

On the subject of obsessions, one very good example would be Silvar. His almost emotionless personality is somehow fascinating to her, and this curiosity has combined with her respect for him to become an strong and unbreakable loyalty. Her loyalty in and of itself is very strong, when she gives it, and nothing in the world could make her betray her country or her commander, no matter the situation.

She also has a love for birds, a fact she prefers to hide, and hates dirty things with a passion. An enemy that doesn't stay clean is one of the lowest beings in the world, in her opinion. Other than that, she can be relatively open to things, and is not incredibly hard to get along with.

(( History ))

The Ierocis family is one that has served the public for generations, as their powers have always been to assist others. Relv was no different, raised with a standard education to gauge her abilities before being sent to train and hone her skills under a mentor.

From a young age, Relv showed a proficiency with her power and in close quarters combat, namely that to do with many different types of blades (though her hand to hand skills were not to be trifled with, either). She studied and trained to become a master of armed combat, seeing as her own powers were to help others, and she had a drive to fight on her own, as well. Towards the end of her training was when she learned that she also possessed the power to dampen other powers as well, an uncommon branch of her family's abilities that only one other living relative of hers currently possesses.

Once her training was complete, she entered the military, as she had wanted to do since she had begun her training. It wasn't long before she ended up taking place in an elimination battle that would weed out the weak (a method that was, on regular occasion, implemented by Silvar among the newer recruits), attended by the Warrior of Dark himself. After employing her dampening field, Relv gave an impressive show by incapacitating the majority of the other participants in record time. This show apparently impressed the Warrior, and he approached her later, challenging her to hold her own against him. She managed to add a scar to his repertoire that day, and though he still defeated her, it earned her a position in a special team directly under Silvar's command.

As the Fissure approached, she trained with this team, and with Silvar personally a good deal, gaining a fierce respect and loyalty for the Warrior. During the battle she amplified his power the most, helped him swallow the battlefield in darkness even though she had to be careful when his concept of his surroundings would waver (because he would kill her, too). It was close to the end that she found him wounded after his confrontation with the Light Fey (of which she knew nothing about), and it was her knowledge of healing that kept that wound from being fatal.

After the Fissure, the entire kingdom had to recoup its losses, and Relv wandered as a civillian without orders from Silvar, who kept to himself for so long after the battle. When he returned, however, she aided him, as did the others, in reorganizing the military (her position a rank equivalent to a general).
