Light, goddamn intoxicating steady brilliant godforsaken motherfucking LIGHT that was in Alexci's eyes, moving down the boy's sleeve in an unnatural glow against that dark uniform. It was so out of place, even more out of place than the glow in those eyes that held him so damn captivated and it was infuriating the way that light made his shadow melt away.
Dangerous, this fey was so terribly dangerous to him, and it was rare that he didn't feel the same sort of thrill he did when facing a strong foe in battle. No, this was entirely different, and as fingers gripped at his collar his eyes narrowed. The pull was unexpected, and he was angry with himself with the way his feet shifted to maintain his balance (because it had caught him off guard, every fucking thing caught him off guard with Alexci, everything), and his expression seemed to reflect it up until the point where that finger was placed upon his nose.
The innocent facade seemed wrong, and while it had fit before in a time other than now it seemed so terribly misplaced. There were always questions, and in the end he would always end up with more of them than answers when it came to this boy, this infuriating thing, and despite the light his shadows hadn't ceased moving with his unease.
Those words seemed lost on the Warrior, though, for his grip in Alexci's hair had tightened, a twitch running through him head to toe because there that jolt was, not quite the same as it had been before but... Goddammit it hurt, a spike through to his bones as every muscle tensed and relaxed, tensed and relaxed in a dissipating wave that left his breathing ragged and his jaw set, teeth gritted painfully (because his jaw was still sore from earlier).
But as the aftershocks faded his shoulders shook once, the hand on the Light Fey's collar moving so he could place it on top of the one that held on to his own collar, mimicking Alexci's own previous action from when he'd first touched the boy. The hand in that dark hair loosened with a residual twitch but only moved a short distance downward so that he could rest his forearm on the other's shoulder.
His lips curled upward, a sharp and twisted thing as his shoulders shook again and finally a sound accompanied it, a low chuckle, intermittently silent and not all there. The shock had sobered him, at least enough to realize how utterly ironic this situation was. He couldn't stand it, and his demeanor had changed with just that simple shock. He still wanted, oh, there was no stopping that, but somehow he'd managed to gain control over it again, reined in his senses and the shadows stilled considerably but didn't slink away to hide.
"I love to hate you," he admitted, because it was impossible for him to admit the opposite, but likely equally as true despite the fact that he might never admit that even to himself. Because there was absolutely no way he could utter those words, I hate to love you.

Weave a tangled web, a web that he was sitting in. Alexci was not used to being degraded to an insect, didn't like the thought of his blood being drained from his veins – to be sucked dry, as if some sick chicken bone. Why did this god damn male had to be here? This wasn't a simple task, and he knew he would never get an approval from his General to do what he was doing now. But the fact that it was so wrong, so messed up – the thought of coming into Dark land attracted him. The warrior restraining him, making sure he did not get away (or perhaps he could get Silvar smitten enough to release him), but his escape... if he dared live, would come with a price. Then again, they had battled before and the two of them – polar opposites – couldn't overcome each other. It was a sick joke. The Light fey's lips seemed to smooth out, his lids lifting upward.
A strange comedy, the way the light in his gaze washed over Silvar's contours. He never been the type of fey to make friends, nope, he was the Fey that killed his friends and blamed it on an accident. After all, in a time of war, the time and place... the very reason of death was unknown. Maybe he was never a Light fey to begin with, being an identity stealer and all. Alexci always wanted what other Feys possessed. This was no different. Perhaps he wanted Silvar's title, the companionship he shared with his Queen. He was estranged in his lands, after all. And now love was being referred to in a negative way. It was funny, and his mouth turned into some type of grin. As if Silvar was his best friend and they were sharing some joke. Their proximity was close, and Alex lifted his chin as if defying the situation.
He would make it out alive. Oh, he would.
His hands were like a lovers now, searching the male's chest in front of him. Holding his torso. It would have been easier to send a full shock and possibly stop the heart. But he had done nothing yet, enjoying the dance of tango. It was like he was playing his role as a Light fey, made up with warning but just asking to be committed. He doubted a prisoner would be so fun, torture, ridicule... but the uniform that he continued to wear displayed that he belonged here. Always the eyes gave him away, but maybe Silvar could over look the tyranny of his appearance. They shared conversations of being saved. He was convinced they were both fucked up, that someone – a third party, needed to save them both.
Hate.
Certainly not. They were capable of it, no better than drones who took orders from others. But not Alex, he was special that way. He defied gravity, and he was still glowing – so he must have defied dark. But that didn't make him indestructible. “You guys should have an open house, always wondered it was like here. Maybe if you did, you wouldn't get people like me sneaking in!” he jested, lowering his lids so that the light was slanted on Silvar's face. “To eat Light, is it like inhaling feathers... or to eat dark, would it be like mud over our mouths?”
Even he wasn't sure what he was talking about, but the pads of his fingers curled into Silvar's chest. “I rather think a muddy feather is most fitting.”

Oh, but there was the upturn of lips, and the way Silvar leaned on the Light was subtle, but present in the fading aftershocks. I love to hate you, such a thing of irony for the raw truth of it all even he couldn't admit. Subtly, he trembled, and the darkness with him, a terrible weakness in the face of that touch and why?
Why was it that something so simple could put him so alight, so on edge even in the face of the sobering effect of that Power. It was intimate and too close, this touch, but he'd already damned himself thrice now with this Fey, and he wanted more. Always more, and his fingers curled so slightly at the nape of Alexci's neck. How maddening, how agitating.
An open house... What a foolish idea, spoken like a true fool and so naive, that strange, flitting quality that had confused and ensnared his curiosity to begin with. There was something so unnerving behind those eyes, and yet something so intriguing all at once that he couldn't help but pry and prod at, and the lidding of the shade cast things in a different light. Eating light and eating dark, and he wasn't particularly confident in either of those analogies, if he even spared them a thought.
No, the Warrior, for all his aggression, was focused on skin beneath fingertips, the play of light on Alexci's face, the pounding beat of his pulse in his ears and the once again twitching of the shadows at their feet for the buildup starting all over again. He hadn't realized he'd leaned back in, nearly forehead to forehead, because this was a dangerous game and he wouldn't have it any other way. Would he earn another shock? He wasn't sure. Would he earn the death of him? He wondered if it might be worth it.
"I think I would rather test that hypothesis myself..."

The male continued to stay close to him, hover near him. He understood that Silv was probably just doing his job, protecting the Dark castle like this. It would have been natural if the two started to break out into a fight, but there was no such thing. All that the Dark Fey appeared to do was clutch onto him, hold him there. Was the warrior hoping that reinforcements to come by? Alexci didn't know how communication worked here. If Silv had done what Alexci had assumed, then he would feel flattered. It would have meant that Silv felt incapable of handling Alex all by himself. A smile didn't come with the thought, because he felt it was too far-fetched for the actual circumstances that he was in.
So, this warrior wanted to test it himself. What did that ever mean? Not like it mattered, Alexci wasn't as coherent as the other man's words. There was sort of a devious look on his face, it flashed in his features like a ball of light. The hands that were holding onto Silv suddenly clenched. It was like he could feel the tension coming through something physical, demanding. He knew what it was. And it wasn't like it was really a secret these days, for the Fey society didn't care. Using his upper body strength, he pulled Silv into him.
Their foreheads were already close, so it made his actions easier to dish out. Alex forced his lips ontop of the warrior's. His bottom lip slipped into the crevices of Silvar's, while his upper one enclosed on the other male's. Then he dropped his head, positioning their lips at an angle so that they could be equally matched up. The Light fey parted his lips for a second, and if Silv had kept his eyes open he would be able to see the light even more brightly. Instantly, a shock went off from his lips, the static going outward to take over Silv's mouth.
There was no better way to shock someone, especially through a kiss. Alex's hold remained holding Silv down, so if he wanted to jerk away from the contact, he would be unable to.

Such an expression, wrought on the face of this infuriatingly intoxicating Fey in his grasp, and Silvar nearly shuddered for it. Rightly so, because those hands on him were so suddenly gripping, clenched, and he was so on edge, so alert and yet so unfocused all at the same time. He wasn't positive what he'd been expecting, and that in and of itself was infuriating enough, but he was fairly positive he hadn't been expecting what came next.
Pulled in, and so suddenly lips on his. Not at all what he'd expected, but he would damn well take it, shadows back to curling around the Light's ankles, fingers curling against the back of Alexei's neck, slipping up only enough to brush at his hairline. Those godforsaken eyes were such a trap, a snare for him to fall into every time he looked at them, something that made it impossible to let his eyes close all the way. He was trapped, well and sure, but Alexci was in his clutches just as well, still wearing the uniform that marked him.
Here, he had every intention of claiming what that uniform spoke of, that ownership, even if only for a night. A shift, a slide of lips and though it had been a surprise, he took his own due, and for such a brief moment he let the tip of his tongue trace along the edge of that part of lips... and nearly bit it off with the sudden shock. This, he could feel in his teeth, nearly constricting his throat and he gripped harder at the back of Alexci's neck.
Pain in battle was something that made him feel so very alive, and this was truly no different, was it? Especially now, lips against his, and he fought against it, other hand fisted so tightly in the dark uniform Alexci wore, keeping him just as close as he was being kept himself by that grip. It was such a sickeningly sweet torture, deadly as sin and sinful as death. Surely, if this wretched thing didn't kill him, he would be put to death if they could just for allowing it, and he didn't have a mind to care, only a mind to demand more.

The shadows near his head, around his ankle, he could detect them. He had wondered if he had created a ball of light, would the shadows back off like they did normally? Right now, in their position, he couldn't really tell. It wasn't like this was a real fight, there was no weapons withdrawn. They were just two men, tangled together. One a sadist and the other apparently a masochist. It was as if they had fit together, their powers nearly the same but opposite on the spectrum. As the shock shifted through Silv's body, outward, Alex felt the clutch strengthen on his neck. He made a sort of cooing noise into the other male's life, as if amused by the reaction.
But as much as he was enjoying this, he knew Silv wouldn't let go. Neither would Alex, it was if they had the same level of pride. Neither would win this one, he assumed. Because of the darkness, because of the place, Alexci was marginally weaker compared to Silv. Alex shifted his left leg, trying to get the shadow away from his ankle. He moved it quickly so that it went behind the other male's shin. It was a gesture to get Silv to lose his balance. Alexci pressed forward, though, so as the warrior fell – Alexci went with him.
He did this because he wanted to be on top of the other male, those fingers still clung into Silv's uniform. Now he looked down upon Silv, the gold irises glowing – the picture of the moon hanging delightfully behind his head. But he hadn't got too far, his lips were still brushing over Silv's playfully. Alexci was sure the shadows would react, but not so sure if they would hurt him. It seemed like Silv could control the instincts of the shadow to hurt others, and subdue it with Alexci's presence. The warrior was holding back on him.
Then, as he was laying on top of Silv, his tongue flicked out so that he could lick the other male's lips. It was as if he could taste the other's power, and he was afraid that he might actually drain Silv of it if he wasn't careful. “It tastes so wonderful,” he said quickly, his voice riveting with insanity.

A resonance, to be sure, the shock that rippled through him, running its course. And yet the Warrior was not one to be outdone by something so simple. And even as the shock eased, he was at the Light's lips just as hungrily, even if only for a moment before so suddenly the world tipped. Down, and he hit the floor hard, but even if Alexci hadn't pressed, he had pulled, refusing to relinquish his grip, and the lighter fey fell on top of him. Such a steady glow, and despite the fall they'd managed to stay measured at a distance, managed not to bash their heads together.
Still so terribly close, closer even, and Silvar let the hand at Alexei's collar work the fastenings of that jacket, familiar as it was. He was one hell of a sight, backed by the moon in stark relief, and the Warrior twined his fingers now in dark hair, shadows just as well excited, shifting. Oh, they wanted to claim, just as much, and they wove their way around them both, over Alexci's legs, against his sides, anywhere they could reach where his hands couldn't at the moment. Truly, this fey would be his, and the way that tongue flicked out to taste of him...
He did shudder, then, minutely, hunger in his gaze as he stared down glowing gold, corners of his lip quirking upward in something sharp at those words. Easy, then, that he tugged the Light's head back down, lips to lips again, mirroring that hunger in his eyes and he could live with this, if it were the death of him, that irrational part of him that had a desire of this damnable creature. Rationality told him otherwise, said that he should let it be while he still could, but that chance had passed by the moment he'd laid eyes on Alexci again, an opportunity for salvation from this treason that had never truly existed.
Insane, but weren't they both, didn't this fey make him so terribly unhinged? Shadows, deceptively gentle, like a lover's hands, and he bared the Light's chest, slid one hand beneath the open jacket and down his side, fingers digging in, gripping, pulling his enemy against him. Oh, but it had been too late from the beginning, and he'd never been able to stop himself, lest Alexci stopped him himself. Infuriating beyond belief, and how, how did this godforsaken thing drive him to lose control like this? Why? He found he couldn't even care.

Alexci felt the Warrior's hand streak down his side, like a snake, the intentions all wrong. The thoughts in his head were as incoherent as the actual situation. If there was an inkling of his thoughts, it would have been that he had lost his head. They were strangers in the middle of a war, the polar opposites – but this logic only meant that opposites attract, didn't it? Their meeting, situation, it was practical in some kind of sick way. The air touched the mid of his chest, the force of the shadows leaving it bare to the cold draft that came in through the open window. The area in which he came, the area that still gave him an escape. So, why wasn't he leaving when everything was getting dangerous?
Because he enjoyed the heat of danger. There was a sort of soft hitch in his breath when Silv's fingers found their way along his side. He was in limbo, aware of the power surging through his bones and down to the very touch of another man. Although he was on top of the Warrior, there was a submissive proportion in him that wanted to succumb to the temptation. But in all honesty, Alexci felt incapable of being able to trust himself to get lost in the moment. His eyes were two beams on Silv's face, searching for some sort of hint of a foe. There was nothing in the Warrior's that expression that told him no.
Instead, he was lowered and welcomed next to Silv's body. He felt if they got any closer, their powers of light and dark would mingle together – they would create something new, monstrous. As their mouths began to meet, he lowered his teeth on the other male's bottom lip. Biting down onto it lightly, playfully, he pulled it back before releasing it. Upon the dark tresses of his hair, the strands almost appeared to glow – like they had come to life, like the light had wanted to leave his body. He knew lingering with the Warrior was dangerous, he could accidentally extract the Warrior's power and lose his own. But he didn't want to give up what made him shine.
There was a hint of frustration in Alexci's eyes, and it showed in the depths of the light. Silvar would be able to see it in their close proximity. It was as if their constant touching wasn't enough to subdue whatever he was desiring at the moment. The hands on Silvar began to shake, as if he was scared or distraught. Perhaps he was just holding back from accidentally shocking the male. “Talk to me,” he parted their mouths to whisper a command. As if he needed vocals to weigh him down.

It was a veritable dance of madness, of right in all the wrong ways, wrong in all the right ones. Dangerous, so very, very dangerous this was and Silvar had no mind to care, only a mind to take whatever he wanted, to own this creature that could so easily destroy him. To taint, but at the same time, there was the darkness he'd seen in this Light, and perhaps, in the end, it was only to feed that. Didn't it make sense, then, to find the smallest speck of darkness and nurture it until it consumed everything?
His fingernails dug into Alexci's hip, eyes half lidded but lost in the glow coming from the other's. His lip curled subtly at the just as subtle bite, while at the same time he recalled the way those teeth had sunk into his shoulder, how long it had taken to heal, the pull of the scabs each time he put on his uniform. It had been a constant reminder, and even still there was a faint scar there, a mark he would carry until it faded years from now.
Again, he pulled those hips against his, had no way to stop the encroaching madness, almost growled. Anger, alongside a twisted wanting, and he read that frustration, couldn't avoid seeing it and didn't care. The shaking, and whatever it meant, he was nearly shaking himself, coming undone more with each passing moment. It was insanity, wanting all manner of things from the Fey on top of him that he never thought about, but his body knew well enough what it wanted.
Talk, and the Warrior did growl, bucked suddenly and flipped their positions. "You infuriate me," he hissed out, pushed his hand up from stomach to chest, fingers trembling as they reached Alexci's throat, deceptively gentle in tracing his pulse, thumb brushing along his jaw. Lips so close again, and he shared the Light and his air, every muscle singing with an unrestrainable tension as if he could snap at any moment. Wasn't it just unraveling as it were? He couldn't stop it, and he breathed the name of this worthy adversary, raked his nails back down that chest. "Let me fuel that darkness in you..."
