(( General Information ))
Character Name: Ethvae Ny’Kely (Eth-Vay Ni Kelly) / Asioria Ny’Kely (Ah-Ci-Or - Ah) Age: The body is one of the Originals. The actual age is unknown. Identified Court: Earth Court. Fey Blood: Ethva is recognized as a full-blooded Earth Fey, however, her blood is diluted with the essence of Light. Appearance: Ethvae, from the beginning of time, reaps the appearance of eternal youth. She stands at 5’7” and has a slender build. Beneath the shadows her appearance twists: the glow of her flesh dies and her figure no longer looks curved, but as though she is merely bones with flesh. Once a woman known for her captivating beauty, has taken an awful and almost unrecognizable change. Ethvae’s hair is long but it is often pulled up into ribbons, creating a disheveled rat nest. In the sun and light, her hair is golden, but lately it has become an ash color, on the verge of turning gray.
In descriptions, Ethvae’s irises were jade. Fey in the Earth Court had said that Ethvae’s eyes had the gift to see through the soul. Now her eyes are polluted with an unnatural gold surrounding the irises. Even the shadows under her lids make the color of her eyes disturbing. She does not seem to be aware of her appearance, but she is, and has maintained her insane image to keep fellow Fey away. Considering Ethvae is attuned with the Mother Earth, her wings are extravagant: they branch out in an almond shape, with thing plant-like veins branching out and curling inward, in the light they shimmer with emerald. Lately, Ethvae does not expose her wings, afraid that people will find out she is damaged; her wings are now dark, as though bruised, with a few puncture holes. Inner Court: Ethvae was once Ruler of the Earth Kingdom, she is no longer affiliated with the Inner Court. Level: Level Three Powers: Ethvae’s abilities had once been known to manifest empathy. She had the power to read other people’s emotions and instill whatever emotion she pleased, often aiding in victory when it came to fights. However, Ethvae has appeared to lost that talent and has gained a secretive once.
Ethvae’s abilities have stretched past empathy, and has become a healer of despair. She can sense the soul’s destruction and weakness. If someone had an irrational fear of spiders, she could cleanse the mind and replace it with the opposite thought/feeling. While her powers are virtually the same, she has become cautious, afraid to waken the other part of her powers: she is able to restore wings, and restore souls, but to do so she must sacrifice a great amount of her own soul (explaining the tattered appearance of her wings).
Currently, her blood works as a manifestation of her powers. She often places her blood in vials and sends it to the Earth Kingdom, to show her allegiance. Her blood is thick, as though paint, the color no longer red but a brassy gold. Ethvae’s weakness tend to be fire, considering her blood as a flammable attraction. She is also very weak against Death Fey and horribly broken souls, or souls close to death. Magical Knowledge: Ethvae is knowledgeable of Earth Weaving, and has the proficiency to follow Light weaving; however, with the stress of her powers she hardly practices any. The only thing she uses weaving for is daily routines such as enjoying a cup of tea, house maintenance and healing. On rare occasions does she pick up Earth seam stressing, known to use the wires as weapons, rather than for stitching. She often refers it to the “threads of fate”, having no idea it is an actual Light weaving process.
(( Personality ))
Asioria, under the guise of Ethvae, has little hope for herself. She thrives on the fact that her mother would have wanted her to live, and believes that her mother would be proud of attempting a selfless act. Once a friendly person, she no longer has any desire to make or keep relationships. She feels as though people will only see her as her mother, and at the moment, she does not have the strength to pretend that she is Ethvae. And while she can cleanse despair; she despises the fact that she had cursed herself by being placed in an eternally broken hearted body. There are times when she will see a wandering Light Fey, and her body would be reminded of a love that Asioria had never experienced.
Asioria cannot stand to look at her reflection. She feels as though she is wearing a shoe that is too big for her. There is little sanity left in her life, but somehow she manages to have a great control over her actions. At times, an overwhelming loss of fate plunges her into a silent state. Personality will grow in RP.
(( History ))
Long before Fey were even split up, Ethvae had been the liaison between their different powers. She had allowed the Fey to cope in the harmony, suppressing any negative emotions should they arrive. It had seemed as though Ethvae would never be able to free herself from quarrels. The other Fey, who relied on the kinship of Earth, had seen the wear it had done to Ethvae. On the agreement to go their separate ways, Ethvae had put the Earth Fey under her wing. Building a Kingdom with the belief in healing, peace and nature had kept their connectivity alive. While Ethvae had been content with her Earth Fey, she had missed the diversity and even the qualms.
She had met often with a male Light Fey, who many do not know the name of. Over the course of the years in separation, Ethvae had became pregnant with the Light Fey’s child. Even with the pregnancy, Ethvae continued her work, stressed by all the labor her Kingdom required and those of her friends. She rarely had time to meet with the Light Fey lover, and only on rare occasions talked about being together permanently. However, that had never happened, and a few days before the birth of their child, the Light Fey had died. Ethvae herself only knows the reason of his death, and has kept it a secret.
Asioria, Ethvae’s daughter had been born. She had raised her daughter in a very loving society, to be selfless and to nurture others, even if they were your enemy. While at a young age, it was hard to tell what Asioria’s powers were, but as she grew into a teen, it had become apparent. Asioria had powers much like her mother, but her eyes were a bright gold, and her powers focused on internal damages. Ethvae looked upon Asioria with sorrow often, telling her that she had reminded Ethvae of her father. Asioria, naturally curious in her father, had questioned her. Being the Queen of Earth, she had very little offer on that personal story. Asioria could see the darkness in her mother’s soul, but had admired her strength, and never offered to heal the broken heart.
Asioria had only found out that her father had been a great Warrior of the Light and had the ability to make people see things backwards. It was a hard power to grasp on, but Asioria had accepted the little information. Ethvae taught her daughter many arts of weaving, from making tea to being talented seamstress of Earth. They had always been very close, and Ethvae saw her daughter as being something great, a belief made from her own pride as being Queen. While their peaceful lifestyle seemed to last for an eternity, the battle of Fissure of Woe ensued.
Ethvae, with the duty of the Queen, knew she would have to make her way to the battlefield to heal those who are wounded. Asioria had been instructed to stay home, to keep the Fey of the Earth Kingdom at bay, to calm their fears. When Ethvae arrived on the battlefield to calm the tension, she had found it to be difficult to subside the raging souls. She had healed many wounded Fey during the process, but when she was focused on someone from the Light Kingdom, a Dark Fey had struck her down. Days later, Ethvae’s body was returned to the Earth Kingdom to prepared for a ritual.
Asioria, panicked by her mother’s death had went to the morgue her mother’s body lay. Using all of her powers, she had attempted to restore her mother’s soul, to bring her back to life. Because Asioria’s powers had not been properly trained, there was a mass effect that caused Asioria’s soul to go inside Ethvae’s dead body. When Ethvae came to, she was no longer herself, but she was Asioria. Asioria, now trapped in her mother’s body, had taken her own corpse out of the morgue. She fled from the Kingdom, only to be spotted by a few Fey.
The Fey claim that Ethvae had been a true Mother Spirit, and that she had resurrected her own soul to come back to life. They even say that coming back from the dead had caused her to lose her sanity and had killed her own daughter. So, in grief Ethvae had fled from the Kingdom. The Earth Fey had claimed that Ethvae was now too mentally ill to serve as the Queen, and has allowed her memory and reign to retire with such fondness and tragedy.
Asioria, knowing the real truth, has continued to live on the outskirts of the Earth Kingdom. She does not take many visitors and refuses to go into the Earth Kingdom unless she needs something. However, she is very aware that there is another war approaching, and questions if she should offer assistance.
