The time is 2021. It has been awhile since anyone has seen the elite ones known as Misfits, or more commonly, monsters. At around the year of 1941, when World War II was at it's worst, the government of America wanted to get the upper-hand. Now, their science wasn't exactly advanced, do all their experiments and creations did not turn out correct all the time. They attempted to create a group of strong forces. They modified the DNA structure of chosen soldiers, to have the abilities of powerful animals, but it went wrong. Instead of incredible speeds or super strength, they morphed. They gained the power of shifting to one particular animal each, which was not what they hoped for. But, they did continue to use said people, and sent them all over the world to fight. Citizens everywhere seemed scared of these vile creations. In return, the traits of these "infected" people scattered over the world, bonding with normal strands of DNA. The ability happened to be recessive, so it never showed it's face after the forces eventually died out. The places most heavily affected are New York, California, and Florida. These states had the most 'infected' humans due to the population amounts, but other areas also had a bit. Now, at 2021, the new generation seems to be the holders of these morphs. These powers. Some may not know, some may. The ones who do know of this either choose to accept and embrace it, hide it away and continue to live the normal human's life, or to just not care. It's causing an uproar in some communities, and in others, they try to keep it a secret. What will happen to all these places and countries over the world, that have become infected once more?
