Name of the Place: Idk? Doesn't have to be anything special. DARK ARMY HQ OR SOMETHING. MILITARY BASE OF OPERATIONS. PROJECT ALPHA NUMERIC. What Kingdom it resides in:: Dark If you would like it to be a sub-board, what main board will it be in?: Castle Attikka Full description: A military training facility carved directly into the side of the cliff near to the castle (originally a naturally occurring outcropping built up and carved out to serve this purpose). The only way to reach it is through the castle itself by a tunnel that joins the two. Or something like that.
Alternatively this whole thing could be somewhere else entirely if you think it's more fitting, just that a place to house and train the army seems necessary and I figured it would best be somewhere near the castle. Damn the castle for being upside-downy! It doesn't exactly make for good sprawling capitol city stuff. Another random note but, where IS the capitol city of Dark exactly? I can't imagine them having built an entire city on the bottom of that cliff... /tangent

Name of the Place: The Feuerwald What Kingdom it resides in:: (it would be adjacent to the Fissure, but on which side is open to negotiation) If you would like it to be a sub-board, what main board will it be in?: Earth Kingdom / Fissure of Woe (split board, perhaps?) Full description: The Feuerwald is the remains of a once far grander forest; while once it was full of majestic and awe-inspiring sights, ancient trees, vital and fecund animals, essentially the distilled essence of a primeval forest, now it has changed - and not for the better (unless one is a Death Fey).
Fully a third of the Feuerwald was completely destroyed when the Fissure of Woe was created; and the lingering aftereffects have infected what remains; glory is afflicted; majesty is tarnished. The ancient boles seem as vital as ever, but they are twisted in spirit; corrupted by the overwhelming residuum of death. The animals have become both more cunning and more vicious; broods are smaller but stronger.
Before, the Glamour of the land flowed freely; stories became legends, heroes became champions; lovers shook the skies with their passions. Now, even the magic of this place is broken and bleeding; to call upon it is to open oneself to tragedy, betrayal and violation. Dark legends, debaucheries, riddled triumphs. The Feuerwald has, by and large, become a cancerous thing, bloated and slowly being consumed from the inside out.
Yet despite the horrors, there are those, Fae and human alike, who fight against the horrors of the new night, who seek to establish sanctuaries, to expunge the infection by creating new legends - and by taking the battle to the source; attempting to clean out the abscessed wounds and encourage the Wood to grow strong and pure again.
Sadly, outside of these few, most consider the Feuerwald a place to be avoided - or exploited for the arranging of business best kept secret. What the Death Fey think of this realm is unknown - or at least thus far, none have spoken on the subject.
