(( General Information ))
Character Name: Leythal Infelira Fielfee
Age: 350 + (not sure on the exact day or year, but knows she's around that age give or take.)
Identified Court: Water Court
Fey Blood: Nearly half and half between Water and Wind- though only some Light blood throws off the balance. She has identified with the water court, even though her powers are naturally developed towards wind.
Appearance: Ethereal- the one word that can't fail to describe Leythal. Her hair is pale blonde, bordering on white, and her eyes are the faintest blue. With her pale skin, she may almost pass for an ice fey, however her presence is not nearly as cold, and her dresses, thought white, are always light and breezy.
She prefers to wear her hair long and wispy so that it may blow in the wind, as she prefers to live above ground. She hates tying it back, though she has been known to wear it in two long ponytails while fighting in order keep it out of her eyes. While her ears are long and pointed at the ends (which enables her to hear better), her wings are dainty and small. They are very much feminine like she- and while they may not look as if they'd support weight while flying, they've never failed her.
At 5'5", she's at about average height, and she weighs between 110-120lbs give or take at any time. It's not as if her weight is entirely consistent, but it doesn't fluctuate horribly. For shoes, she either prefers to be barefoot or simple white sandals, nothing to add onto her height.
Inner Court: None- she'd never be accepted enough in the court because of her bloodline to gain status of any kind.
Level: Two
Powers: Leythal's inherent power works with the wind fey side of her family, yet ties in with her water fey blood.
Her powers, while mostly active when she summons it, can also trigger via jealousy and anger (sadness has never been known to set it off). It is possible for her to make any creature "drown" in the element they naturally breathe. That is, she can change the composition of the air to make another fey drown in oxygen whether they are in the water or above the ground.
It isn't as if Leythal is afraid to use her power, either. She will use it as need be. As it stands, there is no "radius" of people it affects, but rather on an individual basis. All they need to do is be in her line of sight (hiding won't help, as if it's feasable she'd see you without objects in the way, you would be affected.) But you must be within her range. It will not necessarily affect others around the victim unless he is concentrating her power enough to drown two people at once.
She also shared a bloodline power with her half sister, Mei, in which she can project speech into another person's mind. It's a form of telepathy, but she can not read their thoughts unless the other person sends them back to her and happens to be able to communicate as well.
Magical Knowledge: Leythal considers herself an expert in wind weaving, able to summon powerful gusts of wind and create electric storms and perfect stormy-weather conditions with her magic. Because her blood naturally enhances her natural ability, she is able to create more powerful winds than most water fey, even enough to bring about a strong tornado wind (which would probably be 'good' weather to most wind fey). She is proficient in water weaving, though she's not as familiar with it. She believes that its healing properties are useful, not to mention she's intrigued by the various dark magic the light element can be used for. It is the next element she hopes to 'master.' None of the other weaving spells is she familiar with.
(( Personality ))
Outwardly, it would seem as if Leythal was one of the sweetest fey you could ever meet. Kind, serene, and patient, she epitomizes everything that a fey allied with the light court should be. She holds herself with a certain amount of grace, maturity, and poise despite her youthful appearance. She treats everyone, even those of the dark courts as if they are all of the same blood and never makes judgements on anyone for who they choose to affiliate themselves with.
She loves to make friends, and will remain loyal to them until the end-- that, is, she believes that becoming friends with someone is a deep, serious promise, and once broken or mistrust comes into the picture, the bond will be forever broken, hard or impossible to repair with her.
Leythal can be quite a jealous fey and is prone to fits of possessiveness when she believes herself to be threatened. She is quite ruthless in matters of the heart and won't settle for second-best. Her pride and resolve is something to be admired (or considered foolish?) She is highly independent, never one to sit back and just wait for things to happen.
Adventurous as well, she tends to wander and explore, though she much prefers flight to foot. It's wherever the wind takes her that she'll call home (she does not prefer to live in the water kingdom's city, though she does prefer to live by a body of water.) Despite her qualities that would lead you to believe otherwise, she is prone to being childish, naive, and acting without a second thought to other people's feelings. It's not that she may mean to hurt someone, but she isn't good at thinking about consequences.
(( History )) Her mother, a wind fey, her father, a water fey-- Leythal was born between the two many years ago. As unreliable as most wind fey are (so she's been told), her mother left while she was still an infant, leaving her in the care of her father. She never knew her mother, and was raised solely by the water fey man which could be part of the reason she still feels loyalty to the court of water.
Most fey did not say anything about her halfblood, but it was clear they were not satisfied with her. She was somewhat of an outcast in her magical training school where she studied under a brilliant water fey by the name of Jael. He could see that she wasn't happy beneath the waves and convinced her father to take her aboveland.
It didn't stay that way for long, for she was nearly reaching one-hundred years of age, and her father thought it was time for her to go out on her own. Somewhat abandoned, Leythal turned to the wind court, only to be rejected at first. However, she was able to study there, still under the allegience of the water court, and perfect her wind magic. However, only fifty or so years into her study, and the Fissure of Woe happened.
Leythal came to arms and fought with all of her strength, miraculously surviving, though her father didn't. Hearbroken and wishing she'd spent more time with her father instead of running off, Leythal return to the water court after the Fissure of Woe had ended to take her place in it once more. She agreed to always place herself near a body of water when chosing a place to live, should she need to be called upon.
She may have no place amongst the inner courts, but with her father's death, her resolve has never been stronger to live in his memory and make him proud.
