Character Name: Kariana Brielle Midnight

Fey Blood: Full-Blood Ice fey

Appearance: Kariana has a petite willowy figure. She is quite small, which some people assume means she is delicate. Her skin is pale, almost white, which in a way represents he coldness inside her. However her skin is smooth and soft. She is Asian, of course, with long shiny wavy black hair. Her eyes are dark brown, often giving the appearance of being black. However, in times of extreme anger, they turn a cold ice blue. She has one piercing in each ear. She also has a small black dragon tattoo located on the side of her right leg.

Inner Court: Warrior. Kariana wasn't born with a god-like amount of powers. She was born a level 2, only able to conjure ice magic. Disgusted with her lack of magical power (because she wanted to be a level four), Kariana threw herself into fighting and quickly became one of the strongest fighters in her land. Kariana thrives off of combat and enjoys the rush she feels when she is in battle. However, although she loves killing, she remains loyal to her Ruler and knows when enough is enough. However, her past creates her hard exterior, making her seemingly untouchable which in armed combat. She is a ruthless killing machine.

Level: Level Two

Powers: Kariana was born with only level two powers. She can conjure ice (ice-weaving), but her powers are a little out of her control due to her lack in training. She uses them for defense, but not as much on the offense. Mostly she can conjure ice shields and create daggers and such out of ice.

Magical Knowledge: Kariana learned to read and write and learned the basic principles of Magical Theory. However, she never finished school due to her perseverance to one day become a part of the Inner Court as its Warrior. She threw herself wholeheartedly into training and hasn't regretted it since.

(( Personality ))

Kariana is a cold and virtually emotionless character. She smiles only when engaged in battle, which the only thing she finds comfort in. Kariana refuses to let herself be hurt by emotions, and comes off as indifferent: unfeeling to all that is around her. In a way, Kariana trained herself to hide her emotions, so as not to give herself away in a fight, but also to focus on the matter at hand: defeating the enemy. Kariana has a passion for fighting and focuses all of her attention on protecting the land and training herself and her warriors. She is very inexperienced when it comes to love, having never felt that emotion at all. Kariana has never laughed, either. She believes that her duty is to protect her fey court, especially her ruler, so she ignores everything else. It is believed that Kariana does this because she still feels useless for not having level four powers, and also shame for abandoning her magical education. However, Kariana put the past behind her and her heart and soul are now completely consumed with combat.

(( History ))

Kariana lost her family at a very young age. She was only twenty-years-old in faerie years when her mother died. Her mother died in childbirth, giving birth to a young fey named keilana. Her father was furious at the birth of the child, for it was a Half-Blood. Her father left the family, angered at his wife for her illicit affair with another man. Kariana left her newborn baby sister at someone's doorstep and still hopes today that her sister is alive. However, Kariana refused to take care of her, for Keilana is Half-Fire and Half-Ice Fey, a deadly combination. And Kariana felt so much pride for her court that she couldn't take the responsibility of being an outcast for taking care of her half-sister.

Kariana stopped her magical schooling shortly after her mother died, having discovered a passion for the blade. She began to train, traveling all over the world to be trained by different warriors and masters. She also developed her own style of fighting, called the Tai Fang. She trained herself and her few followers, who also someday hoped to become a fighter in the Ice Court. She spent almost her entire life, training until she had become a master in practically every art.

Kariana went back to the Ice Court when she was 200 years old, and there swore her allegiance to the Ice Ruler and her Inner Court. She took many tests until she was finally made a Warrior, having proved her skills in fighting and defending, and what magic skills she had and could use effectively. However, she never showed them the Tai Fang, deciding to keep that as a secret for when she really needed it.

Now, Kariana lives out her days somewhat happily in the Ice Court, defending and protecting her Court and doing what she loves to do best: fighting.

The sky was pitch black. The perfect time to escape the house. The stars were out and shining bright, high in the sky. Rose always left the house around this time, around 1:00 a.m. Her family knew she disappeared at night, but had never tried to follow her yet. It was the perfect time because it was unliely that she'd run into any humans. Rose got up quietly and stepped out into the light breeze of the night. She took in a deep breath and closed her yes, taking it all in. She breathed back out and set off, running into the night, towards the place she knew most.

She stopped suddenly, as she heard a noise. A soft shuffle. She hoped that someone wasn't following her. She was pretty sure that Emmett sometimes followed her to see what she was doing. She knew he was being protective but it bothered her sometimes. She looked around but she couldn't seem to sense that anyone was there. It was probably an animal of some sort. She looked at her surroundings, trying to figure out where she was. There was a little pool of water at her feet, all rippling and sparkling. The moon reflected in it, wavering slightly from the water. She knew exactly where she was. She faced north and started running again, not stopping for any sound until she got there.

The dark forest loomed above her. The trees were tall and their leaves were swaying in the sweet breeze. She took a step into them, with her eyes closed and let her feet guide her to her favorite spot. A clearing, in the deepest part of the woods, where the moon shined down on the cutest little brook. Some fallen logs with moss on them inhabited the place as well. Then there was the tree stump which Rose had cleaned up so she could sit on it. She came to the clearing at the right time. The moon was exactly above it and the clearing was flooded with moonlight. She sat down on her stump and began thinking. She mostly came here to think about what her life would have been if she was still human. She knew she'd be dead, because of her old fiance. If she was happy with her life. Emmett, her love. She pushed her hair form her face. Bella was engaged to Edward now. She didn't want Bella to be part of their family. Not because she had something against her. But because she why Bella would throw away her life for him. Rose knew that she wouldn't have. Life was too precious for that. But if you lived many years of it, it got tiring. She was happy for Edward though. Emmett was happy too. He loved Bella like a little sister. She hated arguing with him about it. It was painful for her. She sighed and settled back, waiting for the hours to pass away.

Rose got up abruptly. She heard a crack of a twig. Which meant she wasn't alone. She hoped it wasn't werewolves. But then again, if it was, they weren't in their territory. She froze and scanned the area, looking for a sign. She was having trouble seeing whoever it was or what it was. A growl escaped from her throat. She jumped down from the log and began to pace the perimeter of the clearing, looking for someone. The twig crack had been far away, but she'd heard it. She wondered if the person or thing had stopped or gone a different way, or was stealthily coming towards her. She readied herself, in case she had to jump.
