This forum is rated: R
Explicit scenes are tolerated here. However, if you feel the urge for gruesome violence or sex, put a warning in your subject tag.
< Spamming >
SPAMMING: Sending unsolicited bulk and/or commercial messages over the Internet (known as "spamming"). It is not only harmful because of its negative impact on consumer attitudes toward PCBS, but also because it can overload PCBS's network and disrupt service to PCBS subscribers. Also, maintaining an open SMTP relay is prohibited. When a complaint is received, PCBS has the discretion to determine from all of the evidence whether the email recipients were from an "opt-in" email list.
Spamming in this case has to do with how many amounts a user posts and what the contents are. Spamming can be unwanted advertisement through private message, public forum posts, and as well as chat clients.
Out of Character Spamming: Posts that contain five words or less will not be tolerated. Whenever someone posts, you have to remember that it takes up bandwidth that every other player might need to use to maintain a comfortable gaming experience. This may even consist of "Hi, bye" or even other greetings. If you want to do that, please do it in private messages so everyone doesn't have to read your curtly posts. Advertisement also gets rather annoying. If you want to be apart of Dokugiri affiliates, don't hesitate to ask one of the moderators.
In Character Spamming: In Character Spamming takes place in role-play sections of the game. Role-playing spamming would be posts that consist of this:
Yata sits down and smiles. "Hay, what is up guys?"
We are going to have a 30 word minimum per post. We like to see paragraphs and grammatically correct structured role-plays, and doing so keeps the forum interesting.
Asterisk (***) will not be allowed, they are an annoyance. If you don't know how to exactly role-play properly, don't do it until you get assistance. Refer to other players posts if needed.
Consider your surroundings, your actions and the other people around you. Make effort to have some fun, but if role-playing is becoming a chore - give it up.
< Behaviour >
Words/Actions: As this is a role-playing forum, words will speak louder than actions. Unless you're in a role-play, of course. In past forums there have been battering of other players for being too "noob" like. We do not accept that here. You may not bash on another player for being something that you want them to be. Of course, if it is in good humour and emphasis the role-play you're in - please do so. Name calling OOC will not be tolerated and neither will harassing in private messages. If you want to rant and rave go post it on your myspace, xanga or whatever venting sources you may have.
< Respect >
Good Virtue: Respect is what keeps the forum from breaking into pieces. If every member on the forum respects others, it will ensure a peaceful gaming experience. However, we want to emphasis the respect towards Moderators. Moderators are normal people who take their time running and building the forum to your needs. Moderators work for you, but that does not give you the right to boss them around and degrade them for their services. Remember, the slave can become the Master at any moment.
< God Modding >
God Modding: We absolutely hate god modders! Warnings will be given, if continued we will discontinue your character by a deletion or a ban. However, we need evidence of God Modding to moderate it correctly.
The term god modding comes from roleplaying. God modding is creating a character who is of an invincible nature and can do anything. God modders are also infamous for bunnying other characters' actions.
An example of god modding is making a spikey blonde hair character that can fly and toss energy balls that can level cities while being nigh indestructable.
Bunnying: A term used in roleplaying, bunnying is taking control of characters other than your own in order to make the storyline go the way you want it to. Closely related to god modding
So and so hits someone over the head and pronounces them dead. (this is an example of both bunnying and god modding)
